Associates in Behavioral Counseling

Jessica Harrison is a member of the Academy of Clinical Social Workers and has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for over ten years. She has worked as a Mental Health Professional for over seventeen years. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Florida and her Master of Social Work degree from Florida International University.  Ms. Harrison has extensive experience helping children, adolescents and families. Her areas of interest include ADHD, behavioral problems as well as treating depression and anxiety.  She has also seen many children and teenagers that are effected by divorce or adjusting to a blended family.  Ms. Harrison provides a safe, non-threatening venue to express their emotions in a more constructive manner.  She has extensive training in behavior modification to help parents use a variety of techniques to see improvements in their children and to enhance communication.  She also helps couples with issues related to depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder and anger management.  Ms. Harrison enjoys helping others become focused and goal oriented.  Ms. Harrison also has extensive experience conducting workshops and groups.  She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and has recently relocated to Associates in Behavioral Counseling after working as for the Broward County Schools for nine years.  Her schedule is accommodating, as she has late weekday evening and Saturday appointments available.

Jessica Harrison
